Hmmmmm..... I'm still not following.... im new to the whole shorting thing....
so you're thinking something like this : JP MorganOWNS2.8million shares (directly or on behalf of super funds etc) JP MorganLOANS1.4m shares to Dr Evil. Dr EvilSELLSall those shares over 8 weeks & brings down the price. Dr EvilBUYS1.4m shares in a single big after-market trade from JP Morgan.... (who now have ZERO shares, + 1.4 loaned out) Dr EvilRETURNSall shares back to JP Morgan, which takes them back to 1.4m, half of what they had originally.... doesnt make sense to me..... lets just wait to see what announcements come out
Either way we're up 7% in two days, so I'm happy!
