It has been proven that the Bioavailability of Oral PPS is much less than SUBQ which is why Dr's are sending patients to compounding chemists to get oral converted to SubQ. In addition to get a similar Bio availability in Oral may require large oral amounts that will see a higher instance of eye issues etc over time. Im sure the FDA / EMA / TGA (and J&J) would have issue with Oral in large quanities.
On another note its interesting to see that products like Ozempic are being delivered via auto-injectables. If we get DMOAD with auto-injectible delivery the sky is the limit.
