I found that there were 2 versions; Thrombocid, and Thrombosid Forte. The Forte version had about 4 times as much Pentosan in it and this was the one that worked for me. I had to add a bit of alcohol to the rub to get it to sink in to the skin, otherwise it just seemed to sit on the surface.
