I think Stelco is gone. News is due within weeks & there hasn't been a peep about the project in years. It's that or the project will be pushed back another 2 to 5 years.
Plan B is gold? Na, nope, not a chance. Plan B is throwing Chris & the BOD out onto the street when it's time for re-election. I hope shareholders here will join me.
I don't have figures on how many NMT shareholders actually read HC. There are 12K shareholders, so perhaps only 5% read HC, maybe it's only 1%. Perhaps it's 20%, I don't know. But change is needed here. Maybe there won't be enough votes to actually kick anyone off the BOD, but perhaps enough people will vote that it at least sends a message to management. Perhaps they'll consider it a "shot across the bow," making them realise shareholders have had enough & want to see a return on their investment.
Accountability is needed here, not apathy. Chris & the BOD have had 20 years to do something, other than sending projects to the wall or selling shareholder assets in order to survive. It's like selling your tyres as you're driving down the motorway at 110km/h. Not only is it risky, but it gets you nowhere.
