Why do you think NMT has pivoted to gold? Hey?
Spending time, resources & treasure to play around in the dirt looking for gold. They have all this fancy tech to commercialise & the only thing they can think of to save the company & give investors a reason to buy this Co is search for gold.
Because nothing will happen here for years! YEARS!
MB is going to take their time. The R&D collaboration still has another 2 years to go. Then MB will have to decide if it makes commercial sense. Will they continue with the NMT process or pick another company with better tech? You think NMT is the only company on the planet with battery recycling tech? Why hasn't NMT scored another customer? Nothing has happened on that front for years. All the eggs are in one basket, MB. What if MB walks?
RIL has the tech, but they're only building small 5 - 10tpd plants. There's only one plant that's viable in the UK. RIL is focused on national battery recycling schemes. They don't have a car manufacturing client. RIL probably won't pay a royalty to NMT for 5 - 10 years. I believe the royalty is only payable when a hub is constructed, not on black mass.
NMT won't have much to do with the Vanadium recycling tech when all is said & done. Why? Remember this?

The EU wants the project, but NMT intends to own a minority stake. Essentially, they're selling off this project for cents on the dollar, similar to Mt Marion.
NMT had a majority stake at one stage.

What else does NMT have? ELi? They had a partner for that project who left & nothing has happened there for 10 years.
Why can't they commercialise all this fancy tech?? Is there a problem with the tech or a problem with management?
