I rekon its just the reaction to the feds throwing a bit of money being at hydrogen, probably misinformed speculation that its an either/or scenario, where its more likely the case that lithium , flow batteries , hydrogen will have their own niche markets.....they will overlap at times but the need for all forms of storage adressing as many parts of the market as possible is simply gargantuan....
