why I said installed build quality, systems and procedures …
- build quality - the cooling system pipes leaked, shorting the batteries. Appears they didnt pressure/leak test them!
- design - too close, hence one bank on fire destroyed two banks
- systems - switched to maintenance mode so a bunch of things just deactivated
- procedures - operator not monitoring alarms
All in all a #$&* up. Amazed that they get to restart with more significant modifications. IMO Li-ion make great power tools, possibly cars … ATM they’re cheap, but there will be much better options for grid storage down t(e track.
