We know from previous company announcements about the South African telco opportunity that RedFlow is pursuing.
Regarding this someone posted on here a while back that when considering the timeframe required to introduce a new technology, first, work out a generous timeframe...and then double it and you'll be close to what is really required. I agree with that especially in South Africa where they seem to be struggling with a range of other issues/ problems.

Seems to me that there might also be a market for 'home based battery storage' for both individuals and even communities 'a la' the Thai village installation.
I imagine that whatever works in South Africa will work for the continent as a whole.
