    Good news and bad news on shorter front:

    Ignoring Fri 16/9 (brokers shorting) and Mon 20/9 (rostered day off), Tuesday saw 5.1m shares short-traded on total volume of 30m: 17%. Yesterday, there were 4m shares short-traded on a volume of 17m, or 25%. Bad news.

    Shorts up as a proportion of total volume, but down in absolute terms. Also, total volume down by 40%. Shorts down 25%. Good news.
