Long-term I think you're still going to be fine.

The problem is.. things were said that didn't eventuate. Timing/response of/to certain events has been consistently appalling. May had lots of porkie-pies told.

If I'd known 2017 was the year to really look to, I'd have dumped all my holdings in June, eaten the huge tax bill, and still walked away happy as a clam. Now I'm trapped, trying to be more solvent than the market. Ah the benefit of 20:20 hindsight. I had a time-frame and am leveraged, I relied on the company to do certain things... it was silly.

I'm very top-heavy GXY also, but most of the sector is also smashed. So diversifying across the sector wouldn't have helped either.

This company still suffers from a crazy undervaluation, and apparently nothing that is done will change that.
