Its immaterial if they have stated they will make an annoucement or not Rooey, the ASX requirement is very clear:
Under Listing Rule 3.1, an entity must disclose all information concerning it that it becomes aware of from any source and of any character, if a reasonable person would expect the information to have a material effect on the price or value of its securities.
If the fast tracked results contradict, or not, the 2D results, or any other significant issue arises then it is reasonable to assume that will effect the SP and then an annoucment is required.
They cannot hang onto key information, good or bad, until they feel like releasing it.
