    Hi Callsign30,
Why do you believe the source rock maturity beneath Saturn remains the highest risk element?
    • I am not fully convinced that the world class Kudu Shale source rock beneath the Saturn reservoirs and penetrated in Moosehead-1, has been buried deep enough to take it into the oil generation window and hence charge Saturn with oil - see diagram below. Just my opinion though.

NOTE: The Aptian to Barremian Kudu source rock interval, from the Moosehead-1 well, shows a very rich, organic-rich, ~ 133m thick, black shale (e.g., 4,400m to 3,533m), with excellent hydrocarbon source potential, composed of hydrogen-rich algal organic matter. To reiterate, the entire Kudu Shale section penetrated in Moosehead-1, was not buried deep enough to move the source rock into the oil generation window for thermal evolution of oil (i.e. it is immature in Moosehead-1).

    Kind regards OldGeo
