Based on PCL's depth structure map below, the top of the Kudu Shale source rock (top of source interval) immediately beneath the Saturn fan, is prognosed at around -3,800m below sea-level (subsea). The top Kudu Shale in Moosehead-1 was penetrated at -3,450m subsea, 350m shallower than beneath the Saturn fan. That's a good thing; the key question is, does that additional 350m of deeper burial of the Kudu Shale beneath Saturn increase the temperature sufficiently to move the Kudu Shale source rock into the oil generation window? PCL also commented that Venus and Saturn have similar drill depths / burial depths (c -3,500m) and I think they are referring to source rock depth here. This does not match their depth structure map though.................

• We have to remember that Venus has an additional 2,000m of sea water above the oil zone than Saturn.
