From my limited experience with rivers and creeks I would expect that the sand material caught behind the carbonate wall will be coarse material and the lighter fine material and the clay particles will be washed over the top of the embankment. So I am not concerned about the potential for the reservoir sands to flow if the Oil Kitchen has a pathway to fill it.
