I agree. WDS is a massive company with many departments. It is not like PCL who are only 5 people to make decisions ... so the MD is part of the research and decision making process and decisions can be made quickly. WDS department heads would be checking everything to be sure that they do not recommend something that will come back to bite them. Add to that, the decision making process for PEL 87, the analysis of the resources of STO that WDS would want to make before any merger went ahead and maybe you have staff whose expertise are redirected as this merger has been announced and the Markets worldwide are watching what the guts of the merger will turn out to be. Both companies will be assessing the value to be associated with any share offers or relative value. I believe that this could be impacting on the timing that we are all wanting to happen quickly. I think that there have been sufficient hints from other sources that we are on a positive pathway but the timing might just be delayed.
