I have no strong opinion on why Woodside might be waiting to complete their farmin decision. Could be a whole suite of reasons, but to be fair the reason Woodside paid for fast-track results was unlikely to be related to corporate activities. IMO it was because they were up against the clock with respect to the permit timeline and needed to have the info to make a decision before time ran out. Regardless, most companies pay for fast track results even without such time pressures or ongoing corporate activities. Pretty normal procedure.
