The impression that I got from their presentation was that they expect that the VENUS exploration permit is going to grow to be a monster field with more prospective reservoirs to be tested into the future.
That is why TOTAL actually bought their own drill ship which is very unusual in the O&G industry.
I hope that our Saturn field turns out as good.
One thing that I picked up on is that even if the 2D seismic is of high quality that 3D seismic is really needed to identify the drilling spots with accuracy.
They also said that the well that was deemed not to be commercial actually identified the next multilayer prospect that they drilled in Monopane.
