Thank you for this Marcio Mello article. The explanations from Dr. Marcio Mello about turbidites helped me in the past a lot to understand the petroleum geology in Namibia. I think without him I would have not invested and I think without him and his findings & lessons learned with 4 dry wells in Namibia, Shell and Total and now GALP would not have had their exploration sucesses
his mantra: go deeper, drill deeper to get cleaner sandsstone in the turbidites plus the right T for the kitchen
