Slowly but surely the Orange Basin activity is moving down south of the border.
My extended family live on the West Coast and I have been alerting them to the on-shore potential when the offshore activities ramp up (I was involved in offshore logistics at Karratha and Darwin). Unfortunately they are suffering from south african development fatigue - always lots of talk and no action, and they have been hearing about oil/gas on the west coast for decades and nothing has ever happened!
