First of all thankyou for your conciliatory post. I am glad you now recognise that all points are in the public domain and your initial attack was unwarranted. Just to clarify (and please go back to my post) I said the AVO analysis would be completed by WDS in Houston not Perth. I then said this analysis which I presume would include recommendations would then be sent to Perth. I then said based on this timeline I would expect a decision in late July or early to mid-August. (Note the speculation on my behalf in the timing of the decision). There is absolutely nothing about my post that is privy to insider information. If you are not aware that the head office for WDS is in Perth and you are not aware that that is where the decisions are made then I cannot help you. Again be aware that Woodside’s VP of New Ventures stated that a decision will be made in June/July which is entirely consistent with what I said.

In essence your rant was based on nothing at all. You just flew off the handle without actually reading the post. In relation to the rest of your post it sadly reflects more on you than me. I have worked both with and for some wonderful women. In the only time I recall a woman being “let go” she was actually fired by another senior woman in the team. This senior woman's response to the rest of the team afterwards was simple, very straightforward and something i will never forget. She said "I expect all personnel in my team to work collaboratively. This does not mean that the women need to think they have to grow bigger testicles to compete nor do the men need to think they are bigger c%%&ts."
