Even if they wanted to, its likely the BOD aren't in a position to buy / sell given information they're privy to. Analysis / agreements aren't market ready, but they would still be aware of the story as it progresses.
Whether the information they're aware of is good or bad news, we have no idea, but our sentiments say enough. I value what both of you contribute to this forum, but I reckon this is the wrong tree to be barking at.
