Notable is that WDS are happy to report on alternate energy solution that they working " to progress its plans to develop" or "Continued to progress engineering and marketing activities and required approvals" surely the work being done on Saturn is at equally progressive stage to rate a mention.
Spitballing here - could this delay in the Namibian Mines sign-off on 3D access be due to a "super major" exerting influence and looking to push WDS out of the opportunity. With the GALPs success the area has been further de-risked and now would be an opportune time for one of the whales to say to the Govt we got your back well beyond what a sprat like WDS can offer, as in all likelihood if this is as big a field as many believe then it is well beyond WDSs balance sheet to bring it to fruition and will look to sell down at some point. The $35M spent to date by WDS is titty bar expense change to the whales if Saturn is the next Guyana. PCL is still the 80% holder it matters little to us who wants the pie as long as us shareholders get a slice.
