The hold up is entirely with NAMCOR and not the MME.
Once the new NAMCOR board untangle the mess and backlog they inherited from the old Board then it will be swift passage through the MME and the ball then will be with Woodside, to then decide what to do with.
But as Jibby constantly reminds everyone, that shouldn’t take Woodside too long.
The question for NAMCOR is priority wise where does PEL87 and the Woodside partnership sit against every other PEL they have at least a 10% stake in ?
I would imagine that the new board are VERY prep-occupied with what’s happening in PEL83 with Galp at the moment.
Perhaps once that’s sorted PEL87 is next, noting the SSL it is a pretty vanilla document and so with a bit of effort could be dealt with quickly.
Things move slowly and then all of a sudden …
