Fromammonia to hydrogen
In the bayin front of Lüderitz, 80 kilometers south of the village, in a few years,protected from the waves and winds of the Atlantic, huge tankers with"green" ammonia are to be loaded. In the future, Lüderitz and Namibiashould help Germany and Europe reach their climate protection goals and becomeCO2-neutral until the middle of the century. Wind andsun deliver the green electricity

Theyshould determine the best positions for the wind turbines. The start ofconstruction is planned for 2026. From 2030, two million tons of green ammoniaare to be produced a year with the help of this green electricity.
