Where is everyone getting the billions of barrels from for Saturn? Not from PCL or Sintana.
Over-hyped Saturn Superfan. I was holding PCL when they acquired PEL 87 in December 2017. Shell opted for Deepwater Orange Basin block in 2014 and Total took their block in even deeper water in October 2017.
So the super majors were not interested in PEL 87 because their expert geologists wanted deepwater orange basin and now proven correct.
WDS have joined the party late and went with PCL's block because it's the only one in the area that they can become operator.
They perhaps more interested in the deeper water side of PEL 87 but had to shoot 3D over Saturn as part of the farm in deal.
I hold some PCL options so also excited to see the 3D seismic but Saturn is no Venus nor Graff.
