I hear what you are all saying but I am of the opinion that WDS have stuffed up in the application to get the permit to undertake the 3D seismic. Whether they made a genuine mistake or made an assumption that wasn't valid or what I don't know but if the Namibian Government are the owners of the 3D seismic then all of us (PCL and WDS and Sintana) don't have any rights to used the data until the ownership is sorted out and therefore in my opinion they cannot make any announcements if they don't have the right to use the data. Lawyers don't go (are not sent) to deal with a Government if there is no problem that has to be negotiated. I agree with everyone whatever the problem is ... we should be informed ... even if there is no problem .... tell us !!!
