RachelRox, I tend to agree with most of what you noted. My concern is with the timing of things. That is, you suggest Meg farming in well into next year. The problem with this is that we only have 15 months (Jan 2026) to actually have a well drilled per licence requirements.
It has taken this long to receive and analyse the data which could still be weeks or months off. Then even assuming WDS do farm in, they need to obtain permit, environmental clearance, etc. Then arrange a rig well in advance given strong demand, while drilling may only be completed during certain times of the year if offshore weather / conditions don't permit.
A lot to complete in 15 months, especially if WDS's relationship with MME and/or NAMCOR is not all roses. My glass is still half full, but the licence clock is ticking.
