All the permits in the map are in Namibia. The Orange Basin does extend into South African waters and there has been some farmin activity by TotalEnergie in permit just across the Namibia-South Africa border adjoining there Venus discovery permit. No mention anywhere of when drilling will take place on some very interesting prospects there. Perhaps the wheels turn more slowly in South Africa and need greasing. Sovereign risk appears greater in South Africa than in Namibia. Just my two cents worth.
