"Woodside Energy will exercise its option to PEL 87 farm 180 days after Pancontinental delivers a seismic licence." Indicates shoddy thinking/writing/reporting (the norm these days or so it seems).
I would have written:
"Woodside Energy can exercise its farm in option to PEL 87 within 180 days after Pancontinental delivers a seismic licence." And that's just with minimal changes, irrespective of that original "at least" 180 day, and subsequent "Long Stop Date" inconsistency that I've pointed out previously.
A real reporter would get to the bottom of all that, imho.
