The Kudu gas field, originally discovered by Chevron, I think in 1975, later operated by Shell, Tullow, nowadays owned by BTW, a small oil company that is planning to start gas production now, more than 50 years later after discovery,
this gas field is described to contain the gas within fossil desert dunes.

Saturn is a turbidite, a mud, silt, sand, gravel avalanche heading down to the deep sea. The art is to pick the right place when the sediments settle down again from the avalanche. First the heavier bigger stones, sand than the fine mud, silt. The avalanche needs enough energy that the fine grains, mud, shale are washed out that the sandstone grains have a chance to settle down as a clean sand stone (in our case a clean silt stone should work as well because the oil got a very low viscosity). The other important part is to get the right temperature for the source rock kitchen, sourced when Africa and American continents started to break apart.
