    Hi Canyondro,
    the simple answer is how many shares on issue ( soi) is irrelevant.
    Company valuations are based on 'market capitilsation' Essentially the value of assets in a company + income ( good will) + a little fat for, if a story were to play out(speculation) add all that apply for your stock and divide by the number of shares on issue and math doesnt lie.
    Certainly doesnt mean a share cant be under or over valued. Happens a lot in fact.
    If our math was correct when estimating per billion barrel some time ago, we concluded a premium of around 12.5 cents per billion barrels discovered for Pel87.
    lots of factors to consider however, incl oil price, recovery rate, quality of oil etc
