It will be interesting strategically what Chevron and Shell (and Qatar Energy) actually do here - they'd be crazy (imo) to not at least open dialogue with WDS/PCL/Partners (if they have not already). Plenty of opportunity for wds to de-risk their position (and gain massive learnings from Chevron & Shell) - the more I think about it, it's almost a no-brainer to partner with one of these guys.
