In the case the Saturn asset is filled up to the spill point with commercially producible oil, the numbers are always mind-boggling (which can drive you crazy). Multiply OldGeos producible 1.5 billion barrels with 75 US$/bbl. Or take this ominous 40 billion barrel oil in place. Perhaps you could get 10 to 20 billion bbl producible oil derived from this amazing high 40 billion bbl OOIP (Original Oil in Place).
You could discuss if you take a lower effective porosity number (due to a higher shale content?) or a higher number for the shrinkage respectively oil formation volume factor (due to a higher gas content ) but you always end up with mind-boggling high numbers. The possible large area and the possible good thickness of Saturn give you always these big numbers for the volume, comparable to the worldwide biggest oil fields (super giant or elephant oil fields), discovered in the 1940ies.
We can see this possible super jack pot Saturn which could be a game changer for major oil companies and a ilfe changer for PCL share holders. But we need to drill and to hit the sweet spot for the proof and reality check of this elephant oil field hunter dream. Hopefully the PCL management is clever enough and capable to maximize the value and the price, when the majors knock on their door.
