“The Blind Freddy of oil explorers could see this area has potential, given what surrounds it, hence why so many companies are in the area.” I think you may need to consider that PCL and others like Sintana/Custos were in these areas long before the likes of Total, Shell and Galp. Recognising and securing these highly prospective areas well in advance of the majors is exactly the role of junior oil explorers. Personally I can’t fault these companies in that regard. If these companies failed in securing highly prospective areas then the Major Companies would not even be there at all. Yes I understand the frustration at the moment regarding releasing of results, resources etc. Even so, I believe you need to give credit where credit is due to these juniors for recognising the potential and securing the ground. Hopefully in 6-9 months time we will be tasting success and many of the frustrated posters will have a smile on their faces. Whatever, we all need to consider that this ground that PCL has secured is definitely located in the current world oil hotspot area and geologically appears to have a number of important shared characteristics with Mopane and others. When you think about all we have in front of us has PCL failed us?
