My current understanding and I think: the oil saturation could be a higher number because for example GALP did not drill into any water leg. My understanding is that these reservoirs are very big stratigraphic sand pockets and we see no active aquifer. This would help with the higher oil saturation.
On the downside a missing aquifer reduces the recovery factor. So I would take a lower number for the recovery factor. I expect when we have no active aquifer the oil companies will use sea water to start water flooding after eruptive gas expansion drive phase. But this could be dodgy too, especially when the permeability is low. One of the majors mentioned they drilled into a low permeability reservoir but it still has a good test rate because the discovered oil got a very low viscosity.
