    Hi alexei ii,
I have annotated the ubiquitous Kudu Shale source rock onto the tectono-sequence seismic section, below. The seismic pick for the Kudu Shale was sourced from PCL's Nov. 2023 AGM presentation - see insert top right. In my view, the sand markers you noted directly above the "bedrock" volcano-clastic rocks, if correctly interpreted by PCL's sequence stratigrapher are turbidites, these deeper-turbidites could represent another play-type (as you also note) where pulses of sand-rich sediment sourced from the shelf as were deposited at the same time as the Kudu Shale was being deposited. As you can see, these turbidites are encased within the Kudu Shale source rock and are very extensive. If of sufficient reservoir quality, they could be super-charged with oil.
