I've spent hours trying to find anywhere with reference to in ground pricing for oil, Deep Sea or Land and have found only 2

1 referred to In Ground Value of oil in a field that is producing, which said around 30% of Oil Price per Barrel. So circa $21 for an oil field in production

2nd said 5% of oil price is fair value at exploration stage, circa $3.50. No where did I find any definitive against actual values anywhere.

Any other references where just s called Analyst guesses that vary from sub $1 to $5.

In the end, I gave up trying. The market will tell us what it is worth in due course.
