Thanks for elaborating on this OG. Your point about permeabilities is exactly what I was thinking - Are Total saying Venus1x has 2-4mD permability (this is quite low../tight). It is interesting, looking at our Neighbor Galp, from their Mopane-1x announcement, they mention "The reservoirs log measures confirm good porosities, high pressures and high permeabilities in a large hydrocarbon column" - however there are no specific values (that I can find) - link below..
My understanding is that 'high permaeability' is typically in the range of 100mD upwards, which for light oil reservoirs considered 'high'. So i'm not sure what Total are thinking. Galp on the other hand might have something quite different.
