I believe WDS are in no hurry to announce farm in as they have a date (May18) when that has to be done (makes no business sense so why do it earlier). But it will happen on this date or just before.
WDS/PCL venture would have already held talks with the Namibian Government regarding further extensions and would have be guided to what the Governments view is. My thought is as long as they commit a drill date sometime after Jan 26 (within reason) then this will be approved.
This will give WDS and all stakeholders time to seek other partners and work out percentages etc so by the time they drill, we will know who are partners are and what the first drill campaign will look like. I can't see just one drill to be honest as if your paying big bucks for a drill ship, you just don't drill one well, you plan for multiple.
