I don’t see it that way! Having a major walk away indicates costs are significant. Most majors have already invested in Namibia and with a global recession looking likely, not to many are looking to spend billions in this climate. Majors are aiming to consolidate existing assets and share buybacks. PCL missed the boat on this one, I can’t see anything happening in the next five years and by that time the board will sellout their shareholders and Woodside will pick it up for a song. Speculative shares, win some and lose some.
