Hi Melindax71,
My view WoodMac can make this interpretation/conclusion because they would have keyed in the two dry holes drilled north of their red ribbon - Moodehead-1 and Kabeljoi-1 which both concluded that at the depths the source rocks were penetrated, they were immature to generate oil.
Since then, the PEL-87 3D seismic has delivered an updated depth map at Kudu Shale level, which demonstrates that it has been buried deep enough to be in the oil generation window beneath Saturn.
