The restriction on WDS not being able to share the 3D seismic material with other parties may have been the reason that WDS sent the team of Lawyers to Namibia to try to negotiate the release of that restriction.
That may have been the reason that they could not come up with another partner to share the cost of the drilling.
The inability of WDS to negotiate a way through that impasse maybe the reason that they walked away because they didn't have the funds to go it alone.
