A bit more evidence below that WDS maybe trying to free up funds for their current projects, as stated before this could be the reason for not opting in PEL87? obviously just trying to join dots but could be wrong!
News that Woodside has entered into an agreement with Perenco to divest our shallow water Greater Angostura assets in Trinidad and Tobago for US$206 million. The divestment is inclusive of Woodside’s interest in the Angostura and Ruby offshore oil and gas fields, associated production facilities and the onshore terminal.
