Anyway, yes, I believe it will be more of a blessing in time. The WDS exit was painful in the immediate term given the increased risk / uncertainty it brought. However, we were also instead left with 75% of the PEL and a free high quality 3D, free to deal directly with a super major and/or NOC.
Have had it confirmed that PCL mgt will be attending the Namibia International Energy Conference in a couple of weeks' time. An excellent opportunity to chat face-to-face with the super majors and NOCs, hopefully progressing from expressions of interest to discussing potential farm-in terms. Not sure that the Trump action will affect us much - pencilling in a partner is what matters and I believe there is sufficient interest to achieve that.
