Maybe this has been explained and sorry if I've missed it but it is troubling me. Why did Woodside, just weeks before pulling out of PEL 87, form that subsidiary Woodside Energy (Namibia) pty? At that stage surely they had already decided they were not going forward with Pel 87? They have no other interests in Namibia so why go to the trouble to do that? Unless they plan to have another interest in Namibia and just not Pel 87.
Maybe this has been explained and sorry if I've missed it but it...
