This news would tie in with the speculation that TotalEnergie wants to make the offshore Orange Basin 'their lake' in both Namibia and in South Africa with their recent farmin deals.
Adding PEL 83/Mopane to their portfolio would be in keeping with the current 'speculation'.
Now all we need is another major oil discovery by Rhino/BP/ENI in PEL 85 following on from Capricornus-1 oil discovery. Next round of drilling anticipated to start 3Q 2025- Volans-1X?
This increased PEL 83 and PEL 85 activity cant be bad for interest in the current PCL/Sintana farmout of PEL 87 and possibly PCL share price!
