Likely too? I'd say no.
The area has been a hot bed for tensions on and off for decades.
Price of oil will spike short term but conflict will end and normality will resume until the next time.
O&G companies will keep on doing what they are doing regarding exploration, mergers and acquisitions.
Opinion only of course but based on historical precedent.
