But how would a big guy even take a position now? Buying $20mil of stock would be very hard at the moment.
Any big player will wait until PEL87 is substantially derisked and look for opportunity to take a position maybe through a capital raising or buying a part of WDSs stake.
Listening to the latest webinar Galp had made some noise about selling part of their stake but then decided to go it alone, which worked out amazing for them.
The majors and supermajors definitely haven't lost sight of PEL87 but they run on much longer timescales than us retail investors. They could buy in next year or 2026 and still be fine.
But how would a big guy even take a position now? Buying $20mil...
