I visited Swan Hill on the weekend - near the Goschen mine, and saw all the Mine Free Mallee signs on farm fences.
Spoke with a guy who said Swan Hill is set to build another large motel / hotel to accommodate the new mine and influx of workers.
Speculative - but it seemed very split up there around support for this project.
