Jrow,hope you’re enjoying the weekend ,don’t know what part of OZ you live in but it’s bloody chilly down at Melbourne.My thoughts or opinions are not to trade WAF and haven’t done so in a long while so yes there’s a expensive holding cost attached to WAF over the past year,but we knew that was coming and decided in that context .l and many others have paid dearly but also focused on the larger picture 2025 ,guidance of 400k + ozs (doubling production)with a lower than current aisc promise,.inflation coming down costs coming down,one of the lowest aisc,excellent track record of meeting or beating guidance,award winning CEO,POG $usd1960,no hedging disadvantage,funding in place,(floating rate lm told so,if rates do come down,well,) M&A rife with activity (PRU cashed up some say with $900 million and $300million finance facility in place and on the hunt for ready to go assets and love the region and l wouldn’t discount other possibly suitors,B2Gold maybe? ) if WAF can time it right while the POG is steadily rising (l think most analysts have POG higher in 2024 compared to this year) Kiaka is de risking everyday,with June quarterly report due any day now we might be back in the mid 90s very soon,but please DYOR as l can be considered one eyed WAF shareholder,cheers.
